A thief who robbed a gas station in Cooksville last night got away with cash and several packs of cigarettes.
Peel Regional Police say it was about 10 p.m. when a man entered the office of the Shell gas station at 3544 Dundas St. E. He demanded cash and cigarettes.
The service station employee complied and the intruder fled on foot. He was last seen walking eastbound on Dundas St. E.
The police K-9 unit was called to the scene but could not find the thief.
Police describe the suspect as white, about 6-foot-tall and clean shaven. He wore grey track pants, a white hoodie and a black toque. No weapon was seen.
