- Passwords should be at least seven characters
- Use a combination of letters, numbers, and symbols
- Don’t use the same password for everything
- Don’t use kids or pets names, year of birth, phone number, or any easily found information
- Make a sentence to help you remember your password – see example below
- Sentence: Dan and Marie went to school in Etobicoke.
- Use upper and lower case, change and to &, and change E to 3.
- Password: D&Mwtsi3.
- It’s easy to remember but hard to guess.
